It produces beautiful spikes up to 16 inches tall densely covered with gorgeous pink to magenta flowers with darker pink and white markings. The leaves are spotted with burgundy red. Despite its marshy natural habitat, this orchid does well in evenly moist garden soils in full to part sun. Possibly hardy to zone 4.
