Dahlia 'Honka Black' is a miniature dahlia of dark red, that appears black, with a bright yellow centre.


Description:
Dahlia 'Honka Black' is an absolute charmer with its dark dark red, star-shaped 8 petals that almost look black with a bold contrasting hot yellow center and green foliage. Works well with any colour combination in your border or container. The flower is a miniature for a dahlia up to 4 inches wide on plants up to 36 inches tall. Three options for winter starting with easiest and safest: 1. grow in a pot and move to a frost-free area, 2. lift tubers and store, 3. leave in the ground in well-drained, sunny beds under a mound of fallen leaves.
