The deep, dark, delectable Helleborus x hybridus Black Diamond strain from Marietta O’Byrne’s Winter Jewels hellebores offers single flowers in warm, deep purples, purple-burgundies, and near-blacks. Oh my! As with all strains the exact colour and flower shape will vary. Every plant is unique. Deer resistant. Tolerant of shade but best in part shade to part sun. Perennial Plant of the Year 2005.
