Rubus spectabilis 'Olympic Double' is a thicket-forming deciduous shrub with upright slightly prickly stems, mid-green leaves, and then in Spring the showiest double bright pinky purple flowers 2”across. Perfect to naturalize in a dappled light woodland, or edge of a relaxed country garden . Try and place it so you can walk over and look in detail at its exquisite flowers. Excellent addition to mixed hedge.
