Anemone multifida, the Pacific anemone, is a wonderfully textured BC native with finely cut foliage covered and white flowers.


Description:
Anemone multifida, the Pacific anemone, is a wonderfully textured BC native with finely cut foliage covered in little silver hairs. Plants give rise to creamy white cups with yellow centres in early summer though flowers can also exhibit shades of blue, pink, or purple. The ornamental seed heads look like soft white upward-facing strawberries. Reblooms in the fall. This species offers great interest through the entire season at the front of the sun border. From the northern US and Canada with disjunct populations in South America.
