Description:
Osteospermum barberiae var. compactum 'Purple Mountain' is a super hardy African Daisy that will bloom constantly or in waves from spring to summer and intermittently until frost with deadheading with warm lavender purple daisies with yellow centres on a mat or mound of lush, green foliage. Drought tolerant once established. A dazzling wild flower from the summits of the Drakensberg Mountains in South Africa. Grow in lean soils that are not over-irrigated.
