Abutilon pictum 'Thompsonii' is a flowering maple that produces masses of peach bells set off by boldly yellow-spotted foliage. Potentially hardier than we once thought and, with protection or in sheltered locations, should survive winters in zone 8 areas of coastal BC. A heavy feeder, ample weekly to bi-weekly fertilizer will produce flowers from late spring to frost.
