Beesia calthifolia

Beesia calthifolia has light green heart shaped leaves veined with lighter green. Spires of starry white flowers. Evergreen. Awesome in the shade garden.


Description:
This species is similar to Beesia deltophylla with glossy, light to mid green, evergreen, heart-shaped leaves tinged in purple when new. The foliage forms dense rosettes and sends up spires of small white flowers in spring. Excellent in well-drained yet evenly moist soil in full or partial shade. One of our most favourite shade plants at Phoenix Perennials.
