Chionodoxa forbesii, glory-of-the-snow, is one of the first spring bulbs to bloom with true blue to violet-blue starry flowers centred with white.


Description:
Chionodoxa forbesii is aptly called glory-of-the-snow as one of the first spring bulbs to bloom, often pushing up through the snow. The starry flowers are true blue to violet-blue with a white glow at the centre. Easy to grow in evenly moist, well-drained soils in full sun to part shade and great in combination with hellebores, Corydalis solida, and snowdrops.
