Description:
Allium cyaneum is a wonderful small species from China. It forms violet blue, open or pendant shaped flowers with long stamens above fine foliage in June and July. Unusual, hardy and easy to grow, it spreads by short rhizomes to form a clump. Few plants can offer the unique flower forms of ornamental onions.
