Description:
Baptisia 'Ivory Towers' has dramatic spires of oversized, lupine-like, ivory white flowers from dusky purple buds on purple-black stems in mid to late spring followed by ornamental black seed pods. Baptisia are long-lived and will adapt to a wide range of soils from dry to marginal and salty but dislike being moved once established. Choose a place well and they will grow into a vase-shaped anchor plant, maturing to shrub size at 3' by 3'.
