Sambucus nigra Laced Up is the columnar version of Black Lace with strongly upright stems covered in deeply dissected, textural, purple-black foliage.


Description:
Sambucus nigra Laced Up 'Snr1292' is the columnar version of Black Lace with strongly upright stems 6-8 feet tall and only 3-4 feet wide covered in deeply dissected, textural, purple-black foliage. Flat-topped clusters of pink and white, self-fertile flowers in early summer followed by purple-black, edible berries. More fruit is produced if a different cultivar is also present. Tolerant of moist sites.
