Rosmarinus officinalis ‘Hill Hardy’, aka 'Madeline Hill', is one of the hardiest culinary rosemaries (along with 'Arp') able to withstand zone 6 if drainage is good and soils are thin. It has a strong, upright habit with fragrant, grey-green to bluish green foliage perfect for use in the kitchen. The best flavour and plant longevity will be in hot dry spots with poor soil.
