Achillea millefolium 'Heartthrob' has large, flat-topped flower clusters with velvet-red flowers that hold their colour over a long period above a low mound of highly dissected, fragrant, fern-like foliage. Yarrow can be sheared back hard after the first bloom to keep the plants clean and encourage rebloom.
