Citrus-Calamondin-x Citrofortunella mitis - 5x12" band pot

('productnameshort')

Citrofortunella mitis is a small, beautiful shrub with large crops of fruit known as calamondin or calamansi in Philippine cuisine.

Description:
xCitrofortunella mitis, known as calamondin, calamansi or Philippine lime, is a heavy-fruiting hybrid most often used as an ornamental in North America because of its bushy shape, dark green foliage and fragrant, white flowers. Yet in the Philippines, the fruits are widely used in the traditional cuisine. The fruits are small, juicy, and sour which make them excellent for preserves but also for cooking fish, chicken, and pork dishes. All of our citrus are grafted onto C-35 citrange, trifoliate orange, or other semi-dwarfing rootstock which confer good hardiness and production while reducing overall tree size.
