Description:
Morus alba is the mulberry famed as the food source for the silk worm. They can have the leaves, but us humans will take the fruit which can be white, pink or black in this species. 'Pakistan' produces delicious, black, elongated fruits 3.5-5 inches long that resemble a long, tubular blackberry. This cultivar is said to taste somewhat like a raspberry and produces over a long period through summer. The fruit are also popular with birds and other wildlife. Mulberries are fast-growing trees. 'Pakistan' will form a rounded or umbrella shape up to about 30 feet high.
