Allium sativum 'Bogatyr' is a purple stripe hardneck garlic. It has a strong, fiery, long lasting heat and is one of the hottest hardneck garlics. It is very assertive when used raw and has an excellent complex flavour when roasted. Plant in fall and harvest in mid to late summer.
