Hydrangea macrophylla 'Akadama' has amazing flowers that open deep pink and age to red. Semi-compact plants to 4-5 feet tall and wide will be covered in flowers all summer long. Leaves turn a beautiful burgundy in the cool temperatures of spring and in fall.
