Hydrangea arborescens Seaside Serenade Bar Harbor is a compact cultivar growing to just 3-4 feet tall and wide with large, 8-9 inch wide mopheads of white and green on strong stems. The arborescens group is native to North America. It is exceptionally hardy and easy going but like other hydrangeas requires good moisture to thrive in full sun. Blooms well on new wood.
