Polygonatum odoratum 'Kouga' in Japanese means 'Great Yellow River' which is an appropriate name for this unusual delightful beauty. Foliage emerges yellow/chartreuse and leafs out showing yellow with green misty tones, the colour holding well through the season with yellow increasing over time. Best foliage colours occur in part shade or morning sun. Fragrant, white bell-shaped flowers hang from the arching stems in the spring. Perfect for your woodland or shade garden.
