It grows like a compact bearded iris with elegant, fragrant, small, lavender to white flowers with intricate dark purple veins atop lush, sword-like foliage. Hardy and easy to grow. Divide every 3-4 years just after blooming. Trim the foliage back to a third and plant the rhizomes at or just below soil level.
