Iris Louisiana 'Jeri' is a wet garden or pond iris with simple, slightly ruffled, lightly fragrant, dark grape-violet blooms rising to heights of 24-36 inches on sword-shaped and linear foliage. Louisiana are beardless irises that thrive in moist soil in areas with hot summers. Divide plants every 3-4 years immediately after flowering. Ideally suited for bog-type, ponds or water gardens in a sunny garden. Attracts butterflies.
