This Iris Louisiana 'Red Velvet Elvis' comes in red suede shoes! A pond iris with ever so lightly ruffled petals in velvety-red with hints of yellow in the centre. Rising to heights of 24 - 36 inches on sword-shaped and linear foliage. Louisiana are beardless irises that thrive in moist soil in areas with hot summers. Divide plants every 3-4 years immediately after flowering. Ideally suited for bog-type, ponds or water gardens in a sunny garden. Attracts butterflies.
