Acanthus hungaricus 'White Lips' is the epitome of architecture in the garden. Bear's breeches provides not only vertical appeal, but also a tropical to Mediterranean feel. This is a tough perennial with spikes of light plum hoods and wide, white lips. Very showy and dramatic. Foliage is thistle-like. Can reach 36 inches in height and spread. Great at the back of the border. Pollinator attractor. Deer resistant.
