Crocus angustifolius is known as the "cloth of gold crocus" and will be sure to brighten your day with an abundance of golden orangey-yellow flowers with bold purple markings on the outer side of the petals. It hails from Ukraine and Armenia. Grow in the garden or they can be naturalized and will grow anywhere grass does, but don't mow them until the foliage dies back.
