Description:
Acer shirasawanum 'Moonrise' is a small deciduous tree with a full rounded canopy. The foliage is golden yellow to yellowish green with stunning red new growth. It prefers morning sun and afternoon shade in well-drained soil growing to about 7 feet tall and 5 feet wide in 10 years. Maples change through the seasons generally offering different colours and foliage patterns through spring, summer, and fall.
