Lonicera x heckrottii 'Gold Flame' offers clusters of slender, fragrant, tubular flowers that are deep purplish pink in bud opening to glowing creamy orange. The delicious fragrance, colour and hardiness make this one of the most popular honeysuckles. Semi-evergreen in milder climates; deciduous in colder areas. Often listed as zone 5 but most likely hardy to zone 4. Plant to intertwine with clematis or allow to grow onto a fence, trellis or pergola or into large climbing roses, shrubs or small trees.
