Description:
Paeonia tenuifolia is a rare, long-lived fernleaf peony with very showy, dark red, single flowers centred with masses of yellow stamens. The attractive, long-lasting, green foliage emerges in spring and is deeply divided and lobed into needle-like, ferny segments. Plant height ranges from 12-24 inches. An intriguing combination of texture and elegance. Ideal for the front of a sunny border, grow in groups, as edging or as a specimen. No need to divide. Pollinator friendly. Deer and rabbit resistant.
