It is derived from Clematis florida var. normalis so it is less hardy than other cultivars but well worth it if hardy in your zone. Pruning group C. Raymond Evison is the world's most famous Clematis breeder producing superior and distinctive cultivars with long bloom periods, excellent disease resistance, and bold colours. Use them on trellises and pergolas, grow them into shrubs, or use them as ground covers.
