Canna 'King Kong' is a giant canna lily that can grow to 7-9 feet tall (perhaps more) with big, burgundy-infused leaves more than a foot long. If you want subtropical drama in your garden or containers, this is the cultivar for you. It is topped by red flowers in summer popular with hummingbirds. Hardy to zone 7 if planted in well-drained soil and given a little mulch.
