Description:
Selenicereus megalanthus (syn. Hylocereus megalanthus) is a highly prized cactus vine that is cultivated for its sweet dragon fruit or pitaya amarilla and enormous night-blooming fragrant flowers. The fruit is oblong and about 4-6 inches long by 3-4 inches wide with a bumpy yellow skin. The flesh is white with crunchy black seeds and super sweet, the sweetest of the dragon fruit.
