Description:
Monarda didyma Bee Mine 'Red' is a winner for the pollinator garden with bright red flowers held above aromatic dark green foliage that is highly mildew resistant. Take advantage of the compact, upright, mounding habit for the front and middle of the perennial border and in the vase. The flowers' sweet nectar will attract hummingbirds, butterflies, and bees alike from late spring through the summer months. The aromatic foliage smells like mint when crushed and can be used to make herbal tea. Deer and rabbit resistant.
