Allium 'In Orbit' is an ornamental onion that forms 3 inch wide drumstick spheres of lavender-purple.
Description:
Allium 'In Orbit' displays prominent 3 inch wide globular flowers of lavender-purple on 16 inch tall stems creating a 'drumstick' effect during the summer months. The clumps of slender, flattened, linear, glossy green leaves are also attractive. Ornamental onions provide a flower display unlike most other perennials and are useful for contrasting flower shapes in the garden. This is a clumping, non-bulbous, summer-blooming cultivar. Pollinator magnet. Deer and rabbit resistant.
