Polystichum tsus-simense

('productnameshort')

Polystichum tsus-simense is an award winning evergreen rock fern with blue-green, glossy fronds and black veins.

Description:
Polystichum tsus-simense or rock fern is a small, tufted, evergreen fern with thick, broadly lance-shaped, glossy blue-green fronds with an intricate texture along black veins. Each frond has a subtle luminescence or shimmer making it an elegant addition to the garden. A tidy and low growing habit of 12-18 inches tall and wide makes it a perfect specimen for small spaces, at the front of shady borders, in rock gardens and containers, and as an underplanting for shrubs. Enjoys fertile, rich, well-drained, evenly moist soil.
