Weigela 'Afterglow' is a lovely ornamental shrub with loads of appeal with a mid-sized, compact, mounding habit growing 3-4 feet tall and wide. Pretty panicles of long-lasting, funnel-shaped, white flowers with a pink blush make a stunning contrast in spring against it dark foliage. Use along the walkway, in mixed borders, and under ground level windows. Very tidy. Seldom needs pruning. Blooms on old wood. Hummingbird and bee attractor. Deer resistant.
