Agapanthus Fireworks is a striking lily-of-the-Nile with bicolour flowers of violet blue and white.


Description:
Agapanthus Fireworks is a striking bicolour lily-of-the-Nile. Its slender stalks to 2.5 feet high display huge, spherical umbels of two-tone flowers with violet blue bases grading outwards to pure white. Blooms are produced abundantly in summer. Growth habit is compact and clump-forming with lush, broad, strap-shaped leaves. Thrives in full sun and fertile, moist, well-drained soil. Awesome in the perennial border, grown in swaths and in containers (where many gardeners find Agapanthus easier to bloom). Hummingbird and pollinator attractor. Deer resistant. Cultivar name: 'Mdb001'.
