Description:
Viola x wittrockiana 'Bunny Ears' is a delightful viola hybrid with unusual rabbit-ear shaped petals. The flowers have elongated top petals in pretty pink to magenta shades with lower petals in magenta and white with black markings in the classic pansy face. Flowers are fragrant and are displayed on vertical stems arising from clumps of oval, dark green leaves in mounds 6-9 inches tall and wide. Use for spring displays in the front of beds and borders and in containers where they can be enjoyed close up. Pollinator attractor. Deer resistant. Edible. Use them in salads and as garnishes.
