Description:
Tulipa 'Striped Crown' is a strange and dynamic cultivar with flowers of a white to creamy yellow background with variable stripes and streaks of pink and red. Some flowers are mostly white or yellow and others mostly red with everything in between. The shades may also change as the flower ages. This is a crown or coronet type tulip, a new class of tulips introduced in 2018. These flowers have strong, thick, leathery petals that are ruffled and curved. When in bud they look like a crown.
