Parrot type tulips are characterized by variable petals with contortions and fringing that resembles ruffled feathers. 'Amazing Parrot' is definitely an amazing cultivar with flowers appearing candy-lavender-pink or salmony-pink depending on the age of the flower and light. Bright orange highlights along the petal edges complete the show.
