Selenicereus undatus is the pitaya blanca or white dragon fruit with pink skin and white flesh from huge night-blooming flowers.
Description:
Selenicereus undatus (syn. Hylocereus undatus) is a highly prized cactus vine known as pitaya blanca that is cultivated for its sweet-tasting dragon fruit and enormous night-blooming fragrant flowers. The fruit is oblong and about 4-6 inches long by 3-4 inches wide with a bumpy deep pink to nearly red skin. The flesh is white with crunchy black seeds and mildly sweet and very refreshing. White flowers are nocturnal and usually last just one night where pollination is necessary to set fruit. A cool houseplant with the potential for delicious edible fruit. Photo: Wikipedia.
