The big, bold and impressive Helleborus Ice n' Roses Bianco offers large, outward-facing flowers in icy white which shine against the mounds of thick, leathery, dark green foliage. Plants will begin to bloom in December in containers or January in the ground (a month later than Ice n' Roses White) with flowers continuing for many months well into spring. A cross between H. x ericsmithii and H. x hybridus. The Ice n' Rose series are the largest of hellebores with huge leaves and flowers on tall stems up to 1.5 feet high. They are excellent for containers or the landscape. Plant in full or part sun, not shade. Deer resistant. Often listed as zone 5 but should grow well in zone 4 with a winter mulch of leaves and/or good snow cover.
