Description:
Angel's fishing rod, Dierama pulcherrimum, is a stunning, long-lived perennial with thin, arching stems that produce showers of perfectly formed bells in purple and magenta. The foliage is narrow and grass- or iris-like. Beautiful on the edge, corner or possibly at a turning point in a path so you can stop and stare! Likes a sunny spot with good drainage and extra summer moisture. Somewhat slow to bulk up but your patience will be rewarded.
