Description:
Veronicastrum virginicum 'Cupid' is a Culver's root with tall, rigid stems hosting dense, slender branched spikes of small, lilac-blue candelabra-like flower spikes displayed above its rich, green foliage from summer to fall. A great back of the border, summer-flowering clumper that loves moist feet and good sun. Plants bulk up over time offering large columns of attractive foliage whorled at regular intervals along the stems. Becomes more drought tolerant with age. A native from Manitoba east and south to Florida. Pollinator attractor. Deer resistant.
