Anemonella thalictroides 'Rosea' or rue anemone is a delicate but cold hardy eastern North American native spring ephemeral forming small mounds or colonies of light green, lobed foliage which resemble Thalictrum topped with cup-shaped, multi-petaled pale pink flowers with golden stamens that resemble Anemone. Goes dormant by summer. Grow in pots or in a shady rock garden or woodland setting. Prefers evenly moist, moderately fertile, soil in partial shade. Attracts bees. Photo credit Wikipedia.
