Epimedium 'Sandy Claws'

('productnameshort')

Epimedium 'Sandy Claws' is a barrenwort with small creamy-white flowers and evergreen foliage that emerges maroon.

Description:
Epimedium 'Sandy Claws' offers long, lance-shaped, evergreen foliage with spiny margins and is unique in that it emerges maroon slowly maturing to dark green by summer. Whimsical, creamy-white flowers contrast against the maroon foliage in spring. Barrenwort thrive in medium to heavy shade and, when established, are highly drought tolerant - one of the few plants that can thrive in dry shade. They are deer resistant and are seldom bothered by voles and other critters. They can be used as effective ground covers or shade garden accents.
