Monarda Upscale 'Lavender Taffeta' is a large, mildew-resistant beebalm with fragrant lavender-purple flowers and aromatic foliage.


Description:
Monarda Upscale 'Lavender Taffeta' is a robust beebalm offering copious lavender-purple blooms atop aromatic foliage all summer long on stems 24-30 inches tall and wide. The flowers cover the top half of the plant and the well branched stems will support a second flush of flowers lengthening the bloom season. Good mildew resistance. Use in the middle of the border, mass plantings and cut flowers. The aromatic foliage smells like mint and can be used to make herbal tea. Attracts hummingbirds, bees and butterflies. Deer resistant.
