Description:
Codonopsis clematidea is rare member of the bellflower family. It is a tuberous rooted perennial or short vine growing as a sprawling mound with twining stems which produce nodding, pale icy blue, bell-shaped flowers that are lovely and delicate on the outside but inside the bells are intricately detailed with with yellow, orange, dark purple, and maroon!
