Hydrangea paniculata Lava Lamp Moonrock is a mid size cultivar growing to 4-6 feet tall and wide covered all summer and fall by esoteric and wonderful huge conical inflorescences that emerge lime green eventually turning to creamy white and then to apple green. Paniculatas are among the hardiest of hydrangea and bloom on new wood producing flowers even after a hard pruning or a cold winter which are great for drying. They show some drought tolerance.
