Tulipa tarda 'Interaction' is a stunning cultivar with a long season of interest. It is one of the few botanical tulips with variegated foliage. The leaves emerge green with yellow edges touched with red that lighten to creamy white. The flowers are yellow with white edges. Botanical tulips are miniature to small species tulips, cultivars of species, or dwarf named cultivars not far removed from their wild ancestors. They are strongly perennial in good drainage with full sun and will naturalize when happy.
