Rosa 'Martin Frobisher' has strong R. rugosa genetics with upright stems to 4-6 feet tall, nice fragrance, and fully double light pink and white flowers that can have an English style look that will please anyone who likes David Austin roses. The Explorer roses were developed in Morden, Manitoba by bringing together the genetics of super hardy roses with recent breeding from Europe along with rugosa roses. The results have forever changed northern gardens with reblooming, disease-resistant roses that can thrive in zone 3. Each cultivar is named for a famed explorer who travelled across our vast country.
